2nd Annual Surgical Invention Convention a Huge Success

Thanks to all of our conference attendees and the generous support of our event sponsors, the 2nd Annual Surgical Invention Convention was a huge success. The conference took place on April 7 - 8, 2011 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Serving an unmet need in the physician/inventor community, the course was focused on proven strategies that transform ideas and inventions into the medical innovations of tomorrow.

Highlights of the conference included presentations by legal, medical innovators, industrial design and funding experts, and offered attendees numerous educational and networking opportunities.

The 2nd Annual Surgical Invention Convention is brought to the healthcare community through the collaborative work of Malizia Clinic and Georgia Institute of Technology’s Translational Research Institute for Biomedical Engineering and Science.
